What is the date and location of the event?
There are three locations and dates for this event:
1. Student Living (Exclusive to students living on campus) on Wednesday, 23rd August @ 5pm-7pm
2. Ourimbah Campus (UNSA Building – next to Ganda Burung) on Thursday, 24th August @ 12pm-2pm
3. Callaghan Campus – Auchmuty Library on Friday, 25th August @ 6pm-8pm (Fully booked!)
How do I register for the event?
There is a quick online form that needs to filled in to register:

Is there a fee for the event?
Nope, this event is completely free!
What is the maximum capacity for this event?
Only 40 people per session (except for Mingle @ Callaghan, which has a limit of 30 people) – register early to avoid disappointment!
What topics will the sex and relationship educators cover?
Consent, respectful & healthy relationships (in any form), and so much more.
Can I ask personal questions during the Q&A segment?
Yes, you can absolutely ask questions during the session!
What type of food and drinks will be provided?
We’ll be providing free subway at each session, and we will have water/soft drink available also.
Is this event LGBTQ+ inclusive?
Yes! Everyone can enjoy Mingle!
Is the venue accessible for people with mobility challenges?
Yes! The venues are fully accessible!
What kind of speed friending/dating prompts will be used?
Everyone will be seperated into groups of 3-4 people, and there will be a timer set for approx 7-9 minutes (depending on the capacity) where you can get to know the other people within your initial group. At the end of the timed period, you will then swap groups and sit with new people and the timer will begin again. We also have a card game that we have created, which has question prompts for you if you need.
Can I bring a friend or do I need to come alone?
Yes, you can bring a person with you or come solo. Up to you!
What if I register but can’t attend?
That is completely fine! Please just make sure to notify the UNSA team.
What measures are being taken to ensure the safety of the participants?
The session is designed to ensure the safety of all participants, through the educational component of the session, as well as having UNSA staff, Respectful Communities staff and student groups present.
What should I do if I feel uncomfortable or unsafe at any point during the event?
Please see an UNSA staff member if you feel unsafe, and we will assist you.
Can I attend if I’m not a student at the university?
No, as this event is completely SSAF funded, you must be a current UoN Student to join in this event.
What should I bring with me to the event?
Nothing but yourself! We’ll have everything else provided for you.
