University of Newcastle Medical Society
UNMS is the peak representative body for medical students at the University of Newcastle. Club aims and objectives are:
1. To support and enhance the experience of its members through social,
educational, cultural, sporting and charitable activities and functions.
2. To facilitate communication between students and between students and staff
of the Joint Medical Program.
3. To foster interaction with other student groups and faculties within the
University of Newcastle.
4. To foster interaction with other medical societies around Australia and
overseas.
5. To be involved in services which assist in the provision of knowledge-based
documents, texts, records, and other information (including that which is
digitally recorded) for members and for the medical profession generally.
