The aims and objectives of the UoN Esports Club include:

1. To grow the esports and gaming community in the university and Newcastle as a whole

2. To establish skilled teams of competitive players and give them an opportunity to compete against other universities in the Australian Esports League (AEL)

3. To provide engaging, safe and fun events for our members, reaching as many members’ gaming interests as possible, whether competitive or casual

4. To grow creative talent within the Club by recognizing and promoting original content by its members.
