Historia is a club to connect people who are passionate about the past, interested in learning about history and folklore, and who want to have fun and meet likeminded people. Historia runs history-related activities and events that cater for a range of interests and availabilities, including social events, public lectures, workshops and excursions.

Historia also aims to foster connections between undergraduate and postgraduate student members, academic staff, and the wider community. Historia accepts all University of Newcastle students (regardless of whether or not they are studying history) as well as non-student members.
