The aims and objectives of the University of Newcastle Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society (“UNOGS”) are:
(a) To support and enhance the experience of its members through educational, social, cultural and charitable activities and functions
(b) To facilitate communication between students, and between students and professionals related to obstetrics and gynaecology
(c) To foster interactions with other student groups and faculties within the University of Newcastle
(d) To foster interactions with other medical societies around Australia and overseas
(e) To represent the interests of all members equitably
